PINT: A Modern Software Package for Pulsar Timing

Abstract Over the past few decades, measurement precision of some pulsar timing experiments has advanced from ∼10 μ s to ns, revealing many subtle phenomena. Such high demands both careful data handling and sophisticated models avoid systematic error. To achieve these goals, we present PINT ( P INT I N ot T empo3 ), a high-precision Python analysis package, which is hosted on GitHub available Package Index (PyPI) as pint-pulsar . well tested, validated, object oriented, modular, enabling interactive providing an extensible flexible development platform for applications.
